Grants¶
ANZSIC Codes¶
Stats NZ has a searchable database, but the ARC provides a text version which is pretty functional for both^1: * 2008 FoR codes * 2020 FoR codes
Industry Fellowship¶
In late Sepetember 2022, the ARC announced a brand new grant scheme: the Industry Fellowship Program, and with a of dealine mid-October for the Mid-Career Insdustry Fellowships, the timeline for preparation and submission was brutal, even by ARC standards.
IP¶
Relevent contacts
For issues relating to IP, you will need to deal with UTAS's commercialisation arm, UTAS Holdings PTY LTD. At the time of writing, physics has a direct line to the Chief Investment Officer, Miles Smith, who can provide general advice, but will likely refer you to Associate Director, Intellectual Property and Technology Transfer, Philip Young, who can provide specific advice.
In short, UTAS want to hold all of the IP and license this out, but as stated by MOGLabs:
UTAS can't claim all IP if they also expect in-kind contributions from MOGLabs staff through the project

At the time of writing, both 2008 and 2020 codes were still being used, which doesn't make much sense. ↩
